Women's Lacrosse

The nationally-ranked women's lacrosse program will benefit from the Master Plan in a myriad of ways.

The renovation to the McCue Center will house a new team locker room in addition to coaches and staff offices. Meanwhile, women's lacrosse student-athletes will benefit from enhancements to the facilities that will house academic affairs, sports medicine, sports nutrition and strength and conditioning.

In addition, the Center for Citizen Leaders and Sports Ethics will benefit the development of women's lacrosse student-athletes in five areas: academic achievement, career development, leadership development, personal development and community engagement.

"This Master Plan will enhance everything our student-athletes use each and every day from a modernized locker room, learning and training spaces to nutrition and academic support. The additional fields will be tremendous. Having access to the best of training space is critically important to preparing for the toughest competition. Our current student-athletes and recruits will be inspired by our facilities and even more excited to compete for the University of Virginia."
